If January is indicative of how the rest of 2016 is going to be, then I’m going to pull a Rip Van Winkle. So many deaths this month (I’m still heartbroken about Alan Rickman!), a blizzard that dropped four feet of snow in my yard (though some spots were completely bare and others had eight foot high drifts), and so many of my friends have been diagnosed with serious illnesses.
Fuck you, January!
Not that February is looking to be any better.
So much is going on that what little muse I did have has disappeared again. When I have time to write, I have no desire to do so. I know where the stories are supposed to go, but I can’t seem to put pen to paper. Maybe it’s a sign I’m burnt out on writing.
Or maybe I hate how ridiculously long it takes me to post shit on WordPress. Seriously, four pages and a blog post should not take 90 minutes!!!!!!! I never had this problem with my laptop, but when I use my Surface, the process is worse than a root canal!
As always, thank you to my lovely beta kleannhouse!
I feel the need to remind people that my preferred pairing is Eric/Sookie, but I will occasionally change that up if I feel it is needed for a story. Sometimes I like a slow burn instead of instant gratification.
Here are your updates:
Picking Up the Pieces – The First Date
You Just Might Get It – Conclusion to Be Careful What You Wish For (Fic Exchange for RachW)
P.S. – Two damn hours because the stupid hyperlinking for the pages would not work! I’m giving you the two fingered salute WordPress!
it’s not letting me leave a comment on the newest chapter for picking up the pieces. 😦 but i’m grumping. stupid Alice. go away! Stupid Eric. where are you?!?!?!
So lovely to see your post with no less than four (four!!!) updates! Especially loved the ‘Tension’ in A Viking’s Choice… in which the titular Viking seems to be digging his own grave (at least in what refers to Sookie’s affections… what a fool…) – Nice to see Godric’s perspective in Waking Up Dead… Nice to see his loyalty and appreciation for Eric and Sookie…
