Given the recent issues with bullying/trolling and plagiarism, I have decided to remove my stories from http://www.fanfiction.net. I have gone back and forth on this issue for a while, but this latest attack by whatever that wackado’s name is, has made the decision for me. I hate to give up that site since that’s where I was first introduced to many of you, but it’s time. I’ve already removed many of my stories from the site; those that remain are my completed works. One I am loathe to remove is A Different Life; it has over 900 reviews and I don’t feel like going through the hassle of downloading all of them. Honestly, it’s kind of a relief to no longer update on that site. It’s hard enough to update on WordPress, and the lovely TheLadyKT takes care of updating TWCS for me as she does for many others. (She’s truly a godsend for doing this! She truly doesn’t get enough appreciation for her efforts.) I hope you spread the word to others that go looking for me on http://www.fanfiction.net to find me on WordPress or TWCS.
Enough about that… You’ll be happy to know I have written the next three chapters of Picking Up the Pieces. You’re only getting one tonight. 😊
I’m also working on finishing up Nymphomania. All I have left to do is write the Sookie/Eric sex scene….of course that’s a lot of pressure on me since the whole damn story has led up to this chapter! Once I’m done Nymphomania, I’ll be turning my focus to other stories. Deception has been knocking at the door lately, so hopefully I can get back to that.
In addition to the chapter update, I have the first half of the story I wrote for the fic exchange hosted by the Queen of Area Five. I wasn’t one of the original participants; I stepped in when another author backed out. This story is based on the following prompts from RachW:
- Sookie losses her telepathy for one week.
- Sookie dumps Sam.
- Sookie quits Merlotte’s.
- De-aged or body swap Sookie.
- Sookie gets a rude awakening.
I am trying to work all of them into the story. I have expanded on what I entered in the contest and hope to finish it up soon. The first half of the story, which I have extended, is titled Be Careful What You Wish For.
Thanks as always to the wonderful kleannhouse for her beta skills. I am forever appreciative of all your help.
Without further ado:
