Sorry I’m a little late today, but I’m sore. I’ve worked in my yard for two days. On the plus side, my vegetable garden is planted as is one of my flower beds. I still have accent flowers to do in the second flower bed, but that shouldn’t take too long tomorrow.

Needless to say, I didn’t do a lot of writing this week. So you don’t have a lot to read. But at least you have something.  🙂

As I’m sure you’ve all heard by now, a lot of things are going on in our fandom.

1. Fangbangers Anonymous is up and running. I’ve filled out an author profile page. It’s not the way I want it, but I haven’t had a lot of time to invest in making it look pretty.
2. Nominations for the You Want Blood Awards are now open.  Nominations close May 8 with voting beginning May 15. Winners will be announced May 29. Remember, only the top 10 nominees will be considered for voting. There are many wonderful authors in our fandom, so please try to spread the wealth to everyone. The authors you love do this for free, so a little recognition by you the readers can go a long way.  🙂
3. Voting for the Historical Fiction contest is open. I’ve read the entries and thought they were lovely. I definitely have my favorite. No, I did not enter this one because I couldn’t get my idea finished in time, but you should still check out the others.
4. The Queen of Area Five is planning a SVM/TB fic exchange this summer.  Click here for more details.
