I must confess . . . I feel awful. I’ve battled a cold and a migraine for days. These two things combine to give me absolutely zero motivation. So this is the end of my banked chapters for the most part. I have several chapters started for many of the stories you love, but I can’t bring myself to do anything.
With that being said, this is the end of Hanging in the Balance. What started out as my attempt to rewrite Season 7 of True Blood quickly morphed to what I wished we had seen in the final season and not the slop we were given. I know many of you, like me, were disgusted by the ending of the show, and a great many more were turned off by how these characters ended up. I do hope that I’ve helped some of you get your mojo back when it comes to our beloved Viking and his fairy telepath.
I also hope to be finishing up The Monster You Created this month too. By my estimation, there is only one more chapter of that left.
I’m trying to finish up many of the stories I have active. But I also have new ideas that keep battering me. I have four one shots I’m working on, a new story that’s been on the back burner for a while, and there is also the sequel to A Queen’s Command in my head.
And keep in mind when you read my stories, there’s always twists and turns. It’s never as simple as black and white.
Oh and if you haven’t checked it out, I’ve redone the homepage of the blog. I got rid of all the story banners and decided to keep it simple: human and supernatural.
So if you don’t hear from me for a while, know that I’m not abandoning anything. 🙂

Please take care of yourself. Thank you for the updates you have given as you have been fighting with your discomfort and pain. I wish you well.
I get to donate mine first. I’m so sorry to read that you’re feeling so miserable! We’re going through the same in our house, as if I hadn’t spent enough time in bed the previous week with the stomach thing. Now the cold that I got turned into a sinus thing. Woo-Hoo, Happy Friggin’ New Year.
I hope you’re feeling better soon. Nothing worse than the migraines that accompany sinus problems. I’m sending you get well wishes over the wires… Can you feel them yet? LOL!
I’m sorry you’re not feeling well. I have sinus issues too, and they suck! Thanks for the wonderful new chapters, though. Feel better!
